Schools, colleges to remain shut
Srinagar: Authorities on Thursday said that class work in all schools and colleges in Kashmir will remain suspended on Friday in view of the encounter between militants and security forces at Dadsara in Tral.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan said that class work in all schools and colleges will remained suspended in Kashmir.
The decision of the authorities follows in the wake of reported killing of militant commander Zakir Musa in an encounter with security forces in Dadsara Tral in Pulwama district on Thursday evening.
SSP Srinagar Dr Haseeb Mughal said that restrictions will be put in place in Old city area of Srinagar.
He said that reports of imposing curfew in Srinagar are baseless. (KNS)
