Two drug peddlers arrested in Srinagar
Srinagar: Police Saturday arrested two drug peddlers from the city and seized contraband from their possession.
The duo identified as Mohammad Abdullah Rishi son of Late Ghulam Qadir and Mohammad Guroo son of Mohammad Sabir, both residents of Sumbal was arrested at a checkpoint at Nigeen area of the city.
The arrested have been taken to Police Station, Nigeen where they remain in custody.
Police said it seized 500 grams of Charas from their possession. A car bearing registration number HR03N 6865 was also seized by the police.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Nigeen and investigation has been taken up.
