Shopian encounter: One militant killed, operation ongoing
*Fresh encounter breaks in Handew village of Shopian*
Shopian : One militant has been killed in the encounter that broke out between government forces and militants in Dankar Mohalla Handew of Shopian district.
Sources said that one militant has been killed in the ongoing operation.
Earlier, forces launched cordon and search operation in the area on basis some information about presence of the militants in the area.
An official told KNO that the CASO was launched by 44 Rashtriya Rifles of Army and Police.
