KAS Officer found dead
Srinagar: Sushil Kumar, a KAS officer, was found hanging at his residence at Ansal Flat in Sainik Colony Jammu, officials said on Tuesday.
They said preliminary investigations suggest suicide but confirmation would be made only after investigations, a police official said.
Sources said he stood at seniority number 325 in KAS seniority list and was presently posted as Dy. Director, ICDS, Jammu. He was 2001 batch pass out from GCET and had topped mechanical stream.
A police officer said that they have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations have been launched under relevant sections of law in this regard. (GNS)
