Highway closed again, landslides at Ramban
Srinagar: Srinagar Jammu highway has been closed for vehicular movement following landslides and shooting stones at Digdol in Ramban area over the strategic stretch.
According to officials thousands of people are stranded on the highway, the only road connectivity of valley with the rest of the world .
“We are trying to clear the stranded vehicles first,” an official said, adding continuous shooting stones are hampering the clearance work.
Last week the strategic highway was closed for several days due to landslides and shooting stones.
