Drug Department suspends licenses of four medical shops in Sopore
Sopore: Drug Department has suspended licenses of four medical shops outside Sub District Hospital, Sopore for “compelling patients” to purchase medicines from their shops.
Over complaints against the erring shop owners, Sopore Drug Department has constituted a team of Drug inspectors headed by Drug Inspector Sopore/Rafiabad, Junaid Naseer along with Drug Inspector, Shabir Ahmad Pandit and Drug Inspector, Mohammad Yousuf Sumji.
The team on Thursday suspended the licenses of the four retail medical shops till further order.
Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla has already imposed a strict ban on touting in the whole north Kashmir district.
Meanwhile, patients and locals have appreciated the action of Drug Department Baramulla for curbing touting in the town.
