Burglars loot shoe shop in Sopore

Sopore: Burglars looted a shoe shop at Bismillah Market, Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and decamped with goods worth thousands during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
The shoe shop belongs to Javid Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Ahmad, a local resident.
Incidentally, dozens of shops have been looted by burglars in different markets of the apple town since last one month.
Goods worth lakhs of rupees have been stolen from the looted shops.
Chairman Economic Alliance Sopore, Haji Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie along with shopkeepers held a protest against the inaction by the district administration and the police accusing them of failing to check such incidents in the town.
Ganaie said that the rising burglary incidents in the town had become a new challenging.
Meanwhile, local police has registered a case into the burglary incident and started manhunt to nab the burglars.
