Twelve year old south Kashmir girl releases her maiden novel

Tral: 12-year old Touyiba Binti Javaid from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district became one among the youngest novelists in Kashmir after releasing her maiden book ‘Luna Spark and The Future Telling Clock (A visit to Kingdom of Dreams)’ on Wednesday.
Touyiba, who hails from Pulwama’s Dadsara village in Tral, is a 7th class student at DPS Srinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Touyiba said she spends most of her time in writing stories and poems, besides watching television and playing with younger brother. She said that she always loved story writing, build characters and develop stories out of them.
Talking about the book, Touyiba said that her novel was based on imagination.
The characters in her novel, she said “are actually cats with different names”.
Inspired by Geronimo Stilton and her grandfather, Touyiba also thanked her father, mother, brother and other relatives.
She asked aspiring writers to write with full confidence and fervour to chase the dreams. Besides penning the book, Touyiba has written many poems.
Her parents expressed happiness on the occasion and pledged to help their daughter in each and every phase of life to get her dreams fulfilled.
