Bijbehara teen goes missing, family appeals for home coming

Anantnag: An 18 year old youth has gone missing from south Kashmir’s Bijbehara area since Sunday evening, his family has said.
The youth identified as Danish Bhat son of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat resident of Jablipora Bijbehara according to his family went missing on May 05.
His father Gulzar Ahmad said that on Sunday 7 pm in evening he left his home to offer Magrib (evening) prayers but he didn’t return back.
“As he didn’t return till late evening we called him on his phone repeatedly. But it was switched off,” he said, adding that they called all their relatives and his friends but could not find a trace about him.
“After failing to trace him, we filed a missing report at Police station Bijbehara,” he said
A 12th class student, Danish @Kawkabduri was arrested in 2016 agitation and was kept in custody for few days, Gulzar Ahmad added.
“We are in deep shock since he left home and we request every organization he may intend to join to let him return back as his mother is suffering from a heart ailment,” he said.
The family also appealed the government to help them trace their missing son.
“WE cannot bear his separation. So we appeal all including the government to help us trace him,” said a visibly shattered father.
Meanwhile, police officials confirmed that the family has lodged a missing report.
“Investigation have been taken up to trace out the missing youth, but as of now we cannot confirm anything,” said a police official.
