DLSA Kishtwar organises orientation training for retainer lawyers, ors

Kishtwar: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Saturday organized a training cum orientation programme for Retainer Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs), Village Level Entreprenur (VLE’s) of Common Service Centres (CSC’s), Officials of Department of Posts and Functionaries of Khidmat Centres of inaccessible areas like Marwah, Dachhan, Warwan, Padder and Bonjwah.
Organised on the directions of J & K State Legal Services Authority, under the initiative INSAF-KI-DASTAK, the orientation programme was organized under the guidance of S. C. Katal Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar and was presided over by Touseef Magray, Secretary, DLSA.
The participants were imparted training with regard to the filing of cases by the litigants from inaccessible areas of District Kishtwar through the postal /electronic mode as per the training module provided by J & K State Legal Services Authority. The participants were also trained to make use of the services offered by Department of Posts in these areas so as to ensure that any filing of cases of these areas, reach to the concerned Court within the shortest possible time. The training was followed by a brain storming session in which various queries raised by the participants were answered by Secretary DLSA Kishtwar.
Lastly, all the participants resolved that it will be ensured in future that any filing of cases done by litigants from inaccessible areas of District Kishtwar will reach to the concerned Court in the shortest possible time to ensure timely justice to them.
