Legends School conducts Mountain Run for boys
Srinagar: The Legends School of Education, Kanitar, Sadarbal on Tuesday organized a Mountain Run for boys. The race was flagged off by Principal Legends School, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri from the Shankaracharya foothills.
The run concluded at Central Eco Park (Shankar Acharya Hill). Nearly 300 students participated in the run. The purpose of the race was to bring awareness about the local mountains and to instill a sense of responsibility towards saving the environment.
On the concluding ceremony medals and merit certificates were distributed among position holders by the worthy principal. The principal in his concluding speech laid stress on saving th environment from various types of pollution. He also expressed satisfaction in the increasing participation of the students in various sports activities organised by the school.
