Lady dies in private hospital in Akhnoor, family alleges medical negligence
Jammu: Police and Paramilitary had to be called in to control the situation after trouble erupted over death of a lady in a private hospital here. The family of the deceased are accusing doctors of medical negligence that led to her demise.
The relatives of the lady held a protest and ruckus erupted in the hospital following which police rushed to the spot to control the situation.
“A team of police headed by SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma reached on the spot and brought situation under control,” police official said, adding that police and para military forces has been deployed to control the situation.
Following scuffle at the hospital police has detained some persons including a doctor from the hospital.
