Bangla Tourism delegation interacts with VC, faculty CUK

Ganderbal: The Department of Tourism Studies in collaboration with the Department of Law, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Wednesday organised an interaction session with the members of Bangladesh Tourism Foundation (BTF) at the varsity’s Green Campus here.
The team comprised President BTF, Mokhtesur Rahman, a senior faculty at the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibu Rahman Science and Technology University, Gopalgang, Bangladesh and 50 lawyers of Bangladesh Supreme Court.
Dr Reyaz Qureshi, senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Tourism Studies, University of Kashmir also accompanied the visiting team.
Vice-Chancellor CUK, Prof Mehraj ud Din Mir extended a warm welcome to the visiting members and had a detailed interactive session with them. He called for holding of more such interactions and asked the faculty members to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with BTF for the faculty/students exchange programme.
Prof Mokhtesur Rahman also expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and praised his intellectual honesty and amiable behaviour. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the CUK fraternity for providing the platform to share his thoughts and experiences.
Dean School of Science, Prof M Afzal Zargar hailed both the departments on the occasion for organising the interactive meet.
Coordinator at the Department of Tourism Studies, Dr Ramjit said the objective of the event was to interact with the tourism faculty, scholars, law teachers and scholars of both the departments and discuss issues related to environmental laws pertaining to the tourism. Coordinator, Department of Legal Studies, Ms Gulafroz presented the vote of thanks.
