Srinagar: The 3rd semester students of Government Degree College (GDC) Tral in south Kashmir are up in arms against the Kashmir University administration for declaring what they termed as ‘flawed results’. The students said the varsity administration has failed all the students in their 3rd semester exams.
“The evaluation is totally flawed because it is not possible that all the students in a class are below average students and can’t qualify the semester exams,” the students said.
The protesting students blamed the varsity administration for playing with their carrier and said failing whole batch of students was a matter of grave concern.
The students demanded rechecking of English, Geography, Mathematics and Botany papers.
The students said they were failed in previous (2nd semester) exams by the university. “But we had approached the college Principal who helped us in getting the answer scripts rechecked,” the students said.
Controller examination in Kashmir University (KU) Prof. Farooq Ahmad said the matter will be looked in to. “We will review the issue. Students need to be patient,” he said.
