Missing Rafiabad man traced, handed over to family
Sopore: Police on Saturday traced a missing person from Baramulla district and handed him over to his family.
The missing man- Shareef ud din Gujjar, a resident of Dooniwari village in Rafiabad area, was traced from Boniyar in Uri area of the district by a special team of police led by SHO Panzla Police Station after carrying out thorough searches in the area.
The special team was constituted by SDPO Rafiabad, Nissar Ahmad upon directions by SSP Sopore, Javaid Iqbal.
Gujjar’s son-in-law, Gulzar Ahmad Khan had lodged a missing complaint at Police Station Panzla on April 15.
A police statement said that the special team carried out searches at different places in the entire area “and after hectic efforts the missing person was traced out from Boniyar Uri in Baramulla”.
After completing legal formalities, Gujjar was handed over to his family members.
