Drug peddler held in Pampore
Awantipora: Police has said it arrested a drug peddler from Pampore on Saturday and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
The accused identified as Mohammad Riyaz Gojar son of Abdul Hussain Gojar resident of Leera Rajouri, was held by officers at a checkpoint near Galandar, Pampore.
Police said it recovered 1.9 kg of Charas from Gojar’s possession.
Bhat has been taken to Police Station Pampore where he remains in custody.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation in the matter taken up.
