Power shutdown in Kashmir districts in coming days
Srinagar: Power Controller, Kashmir Friday informed that there will be a power shutdown on various 33kV lines in several districts of the valley till May 5 in view of “stabilization and branch cutting”.
The districts that are going to be affected by the shutdowns are Srinagar, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Budgam and Bandipora.
In Srinagar, there will be a power shutdown on the 33kV Cheshmashahi-TRC, Cheshmashahi-Centaur Line, and Cheshmashahi-Shalimar, Cheshmashahi-Nishat Lines on April 27 and 29 respectively from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The statement said that in Baramulla district, the shutdown will be on the 33kV Amargarh Pattan line on April 27-28, HMT line on April 29-30, Kangundara line on May 1, Delina-Wagoora line on May 2-3, Uri Line on April 27-28, Boniyar Line on April 29 2019, Watergam Line on April 30, Malpora Line on May 1, Delina Line on May 2, Baramulla Ist, 2nd and MES on May 3, Pattan-Amargarh line on April 27-28, Kongamdara Line on May 1 and Nehalpora-Gulmarg line on May 4 – 5 from 9.00am to 5.00 pm.
In Ganderbal and Bandipora, the Power Controller has informed that the 33kV Safapora line and Shadipora Tap line will be fixed on 29 March and May 4, Markundal Line on May 4 and 7 , Hajin Tap line on April 29, Preng Tap Line and HCC Bandipora on April 29 and May 4 respectively from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Furthermore, there will be a power shutdown on the 33kV Pampore-BK Pora and Pampore-Nagam-Char Sharif lines from April 27 – 28, Arizal tap line from April 29-30 9, Shariefabad-Narbal line on 28 April, Narbal Snoor (including Mazhama Tap) on 30 April, Budgam-Ichgam-Kremshore line, Budgam-Waterhal line and Budgam-Ichgam-Chadoora line on 29 April and 01 May, Budgam-Sidco line on 30 April, Shariefabad-Wadwan line on May 1 May and Ahmadpora-Magam-Khag Tap line on 2 April from 08.00am to 08.00 pm.
The power supply to the fed areas will be affected during the said date and time, the Power Controller has informed.
