Five shops gutted in Sopore fire mishap

Sopore: Five shops were damaged when a fire broke out at Iqbal market in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday early morning, police said.

 The fire mysteriously engulfed a three storey shopping Complex at Iqbal market in the town, following which fire service team wa rushed to the spot to douse the flames

The fire was later brought under control with the efforts of fire tenders team, however, the cause of fire was not immediately known official in fire service said.

 The officer further said that in the mishap two shops on ground floor, 2 shops on 1st floor and one shop on 2nd floor of the 3 storey building were gutted.

 However, there were no reports of loss of life or injuries to anyone in the mishap.
