Notorious drug peddler held in Sopore
400 capsules recovered, says police
Sopore: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a “notorious” drug peddler during a naka at Saidpora-Dangarpora crossing of the town.
A police party from Police Station Sopore led by SHO, Azim Iqbal apprehended one of the accused, Sameer Ahmad Dar S/O Mohammad Rajab Dar, a resident of Dangarpora, Sopore during the naka and recovered 400 Capsules of the contraband substance from his possession.
Police said that a case under FIR No. 98/2019 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation have been taken up.
