Girl commits suicide after allegedly raped by father
Bandipora: In a shocking incident, a girl (Name withheld) has committed suicide after being allegedly raped by her father in Chaliwaan Chattybandi area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora District on Saturday.
Reports reaching KNO said that the girl committed suicide after she was raped by her father at her home.
Police after receiving compliant has taken the body to Bandipora Hospital for conducting postmortem and the accused father has been arrested.
A Senoir police officer while confirming the incident said that they have registered an FIR and the accused father has been arrested.
Case FIR No 04/2019 U/S 506,376,306 has been registered in Police Station Aragam against the accused and investigation has been started in the matter. “more details will follow”
