Youth killed in forces action at Langate
Srinagar: A youth was killed during clashes with the government forces in Langate area of Kupwara district as the polling for the day ended for the Baramulla parliamentary constituency on Thursday.
Reports said that youth took to streets in Mandigam village of Langate and clashed with the forces after the polling ended this evening.
They said that the forces fired pellets to quell the protests, resulting in death of a youth. The youth has been identified as Owais Mir, a resident of Mandigam.
The youth according to reports had suffered multiple pellet injuries and was declared dead on arrival at the facility.
