Mirwaiz Umar Farooq arrives back in Srinagar, was questioned for 3 days by NIA
Srinagar: After being questioned for the three consecutive days by National Investigation Agency (NIA) over ‘terror funding’ Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday returned home along with his amalgam leaders and his legal advisor.
Mirwaiz was allowed to return him today by the NIA.
“He arrived in Srinagar this evening and left towards his Nigeen residence,” sources said.
Mirwaiz in part of Joint Resistance leadership comprising of Syed Ali Geelani and Yasin Malik as well.
Malik is under NIA custody.
