Bootlegger arrested in Anantnag, contraband substance recovered
Anantnag: Police in Anantnag claimed to have arrested a bootlegger at a checkpoint near Sangam and seized huge quantity of illicit liquor from his possession.
Police said that officers at the checkpoint intercepted a Maruti vehicle bearing registration number JK03A-5012.
“On checking the vehicle huge quantity of illicit liquor was seized from the possession of Arif Ahmad resident of Qaimoh Khudwani Kulgam,” police said.
Police has registered case in this regard and launched an investigation.
