RSS Leader killing: Jammu High court suspends day’s work, Jammu University students protest
Jammu: Police on Wednesday flexed muscles on Jammu university students and cane charged them after they blocked vehicular movement on University-Railway Station road against killing of RSS leader and his PSO.
Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association also suspended work in Jammu High Court against the killing.
According to KNO correspondent seven protesting students were detained by police.
“Police restorted to lathicharge to disperse the Jammu university students while they tried staging protest demonstration and blocked the traffic movement on University-Railway Station road over Kishtwar incident,” they said.
Protesters belonging to Bajrang Dal also protested in Jammu.
Protesting students said that in past Parihar brothers were killed in similar fashion and perpetrarors are yet to be put behind bars.
“We ask Governor Satya Pal Malik as to why targetted killing of Hindus is going un noticed. Its second such incident. It must be probed and those behind the crime should be brought to book,” they said.
RSS leader along with his PSO was killed after unidentified gunmen opened fire on them in District Hospital Kishtwar. (KNO)
