Militants hurl grenade on CRPF bunker
Srinagar: Government Forces on Monday cordoned off Gulshan Nagar area of Nowgam Bypass after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards a CRPF bunker, however, the grenade did not explode, reports said.
CRPF personnel from 117 Battalion claimed that unknown persons threw a grenade on their bunker however, the grenade did not explode.
Shortly after their claim, forces personnel arrived at the spot and started search operation, however, no arrests were made.
The bomb disposal squad later reached the spot and defused the grenade. (CNS)
