Forces conduct night raids on Ratnipora Pulwama to arrest alleged stone pelters
Pulwama: Five youth were arrested during nocturnal raids by government forces in Ratnipora belt of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that nocturnal raids on the area were conducted by a joint team of forces.
The raids were conducted on Ratnipora and it’s adjacent villages in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
Locals sources claimed that at least five youth from the area have been picked up.
They identified the arrested youth as Tariq Ahmad Rather from Kharbatpora, Parvaiz Ahmad Dar from Mohanvij, Asif Dar from Rakh Lajoora and Irshad Ahmad Reshie and Gh Nabi Sofi, both residents of Ratnipora Pulwama.
A police official while confirming their arrest said that they had been arrested for their invo lvement in stone pelting related incidents(KNO)
