NIA summons Mirwaiz again, asks him to appear on Apr 18
Srinagar: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday issued yet another summon to Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, asking him to appear before the NIA court on April 18.
Notably, this was the third summon from NIA to Mirwaiz so far. However, Mirwaiz didn’t turn up at the Delhi office of the agency citing ‘security threat’.
However, NIA once again has asked the top cleric of Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to appear before the NIA court on April 18.
The notice as per the reports also mentioned that Mirwaiz’s security concerns in New Delhi will be taken care of.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz confirmed that another notice has been issued by NIA to him, and has been asked to appear before the court on April 18.
