Following LOC flare up in Poonch, authorities order closure of schools in parts
Jammu : Following cross Line of Control exchange of firing between India and Pakistan armies on Monday authorities have ordered closure of education institutions in several areas in the district Poonch.
Officials told KNO that authorities have ordered that schools falling in shelling range in Shahpur, Mandaar, Kirni, partially Qasba including HSS Islamabad shall remain closed today.The order was issued by DDC/CEO Poonch.
India and Pakistan armies exchanged heavy gunfire and mortar shelling along LOC on Monday.(KNO)
