Two burglars arrested, stolen goods recovered

Srinagar: Police on Friday said that it has arrested two persons and recovered stolen goods from their possession in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said that Police Station Pattan received a complaint of burglary from one individual Hilal Ahmad Parra son of Abdul Salam Parra resident of Sherpora Pattan At Present Jamia Mohalla Pattan.
“Accordingly a case under relevant sections of law was registered and an investigation was initiated”.
During the course of the investigation, one suspect identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh son of Mohammad Ismail Sheikh of Poshwani Pattan was called up for investigations. When the officers spoke to him about the burglary case they learnt about his involvement in the burglary and eventually the stolen property and goods were recovered which include golden rings and ear rings, the spokesman said.
Besides, police was able to recover some more stolen properties and goods during the course of the investigation which includes Gas Cylinder, 05 copper plates, Drill Machine, Water Motor, Cooking oil etc, the spokesman said.
Based on the material evidences collected in the instant case Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh has been arrested, besides one more accused identified as Hafiz Ullah Qadri son of Mohammad Yaseen Qadri of Poshwani Pattan has also been arrested in the instant matter, the spokesman said.
“Police is expecting more recoveries as the investigation progresses. Police will be robustly dealing with such anti-social elements as per the law so as to keep area safe from such crimes, “the spokesman added.
