Following tip-off about militants presence, forces lay siege over Hathlangoo Sopore

Sopore: Following a tip-off about militants hiding in the Hathlangoo village of Sopore, government forces have launched cordon and search operation in the area on Tuesday afternoon.
According to locals a joint team of Army’s 22RR , Police and CRPF arrived in the village and sealed all the entry and exit points of the village.
SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal told Kashmir Vision that the operation to flush out militants in the area was launched following ‘specific information that militants are present in the area’.
Forces have laid a siege over the village and the cordoned off the area.
Door to door searches are underway in the area.
