Clashes erupt during CASO in Arwani Bijbehara
Bijbehara: Clashes erupted between protesters and government forces, who had launched cordon and search operation in Arwani Bijbehara .
Reports reaching KNO that as the searches were intensified in the area, youth took to streets and pelted stones on government forces.
“They retaliated by firing tear smoke shells to disperse protesters,” locals claimed.
Earlier CASO was launched in area over ‘specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area’.
The joint team of forces including has laid siege over the village.
