Militants killed in Hajin gunfight identified
Hajin: The two militants killed in a gunfight Mir Mohalla Hajin village of north Kashmir’s area of Bandipora district on Friday have been identified
The slain militants have been identified as Ali bhai and Kubaib bhai, foreigners from Pakistan. The two slain Pakistani militants, Ali bhai and Hubaib bhai, as per police records were the top commander of proscribed militant outfit Lashkar-e-Tobia they were active in Bandipora District.
According to the police the 10-year-old kid, Aatif, who was allegedly taken hostage was also killed.
The slain were killed in an gunfight that broke out Thursday following a search operation launched by the forces.
The official said as the forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants opened fire, triggering a gunfight.(KNO)
