Hostage crisis in Hajin gunfight, one rescued, efforts on to evacuate other says Police
Srinagar: The police on Thursday claimed that two civilians were held hostage by militants in North Kashmir’s Hajin area of Bandipora district.
Encounter broke out between the militants and government forces in the area during cordon and search operation there.
The police said one civilian has been rescued while efforts were on to rescue another one.
