Valley parts receive fresh snowfall, Gulmarg records minimum temperature of -2 Degree Celsius
Srinagar: Fresh snowfall was received in summer capital Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir on Wednesday, leading to dip in temperature across Kashmir.
Srinagar received 17.4mm of rainfall, mostly during the night, officials said, with minimum temperature of 2.4 Degrees Celsius. Qazigund received 13mm of rain in 24-hours and recorded a low of 3.7 degrees Celsius, Kokernag recorded 2.8 degrees Celsius minimum temperature.
Kupwara had a low of 1.3 degrees Celsius and rainfall of 41.2mm while Gulmarg received 20 centimetres of fresh snow with minimum temperature of minus 2.0 degrees Celsius and Pahalgam witnessed 8.4 mm of rainfall and registered a minimum of minus 1.6 degrees Celsius.
