No ‘Holi’ celebrations at Raj Bhavan this Year: Governor
Jammu: Holi will not be celebrated this year at Raj Bhavan of Jammu and Kashmir state, officials said on Wednesday.
A Raj Bhavan Spokesperson has informed that as ‘a mark of respect’ towards the CRPF personnel who were killed in a suicide attack at Pulwama on 14th February 2019.
“Governor Satya Pal Malik has decided that there will be no official celebrations related to the ‘Holi’ festival at Raj Bhavan,” spokesman said.
Governor has conveyed that he too would go without the Holi celebrations this year ‘in memory of the killed CRPF personnels.’
