Police launches nocturnal raid on Pulwama village, arrests 8 youth
Pulwama: Police launched nocturnal raids in Drabgam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and arrested eight youth in the operation.
Government forces arrived during intervening night of Monday and Tuesday and laid siege over a cluster of houses. The villagers were ordered to come out of their houses and detained eight youth.
Some of arrested youth have been identified as Ashraf Khan, Irfan Javid, Muzamil Ahmed, Khursheed Ahmad, Imran Ahmed and Ishfaq Ahmad.
A police official told KNO that the youth were detained on charges of stone pelting.
