Following tip-off about militants presence, forces seal Sopore village

Rafiabad: Forces on Monday morning launched a cordon and search in north Kashmir’s Sopore village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to sources a joint team of forces including Army’s 22RR ,SOG of j&k Police and CRPF launched sealed Lattishart village of Zaingeer Sopore and conducted house to house search operation in the area.
A top police officer of Sopore told ‘Kashmir Vision’ that anti militancy operation was launched following inputs about presence of militants in the area.
He said so far no contact with militants has been made, while searches in the area are underway.
