Police seeks help to identify suspected thief
Sopore: Police on Saturday sought help of the general public to identify a suspected thief wanted by the Police Station Sopore in ATM Card Theft /cheating case.
Police said that Irshad Ahmad Peer, son of Abdul Qayoom Peer of Model Town Sopore lodged a written complaint in Police Station Sopore to the effect that when he entered in ATM and asked some unknown person to help him to withdraw cash from the ATM, the unknown person has changed his ATM Card with another one on from SBI bank ATM Sopore.
In this regard, investigation was taken up, police said, adding that during the course of investigation, police collected the CCTV footage regarding the incident and photograph of the suspect was obtained.
In case of any information/clue, regarding the person police has asked people to call on 9596773010, 9596773100.
The name of the person providing any clue or information regarding the suspected thief will be kept confidential, police added.
