Hurriyat (G) protests post Friday prayers at Hyderpora, Budgam

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) Friday staged a protest at Hyderpora Srinagar and Budgam, against what they termed as ‘fascist ploys’ like booking of Muhammad Yasin Malik and others pro-freedom leaders under PSA, sending the summon to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Naseem Geelani by NIA, the spree of mass arrests and ban on politico-religious organization Jamaat-I-Islami.
Spokesman of amalgam in a statement issued here said that it organized a protest at Hyderpora Srinagar against ‘state-terrorism’ while as Aga Syed Akeel Mouswi organized a protest rally in Budgam, which was scheduled to be headed by Aga Syed Hassan Mouswi, but he was put under house arrest by the police.
Terming random incarceration of resistance leaders of Jammu and Kashmir as ‘a mark of tyranny’ on the face of India claiming the largest democracy of the world, leaders expressed its grave concern on the sheer lawlessness prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir.
Leaders sent a loud and clear message to the authorities that the people of Kashmir shall resist, to its full capacity, to safeguard the movement of right-to self determination.
