DGP sanctions welfare relief for NOKs of deceased personnel, retired personnel
JAMMU: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has sanctioned welfare relief for fifteen retired police personnel and NOKs of three deceased personnel.
“An amount of rupees 2.97 lakh has been sanctioned out of Retired Policemen Welfare Fund to cater their expenses of urgent nature,” Police said in a statement.
As per the PHQ order issued on March 14, 2019 welfare relief has been sanctioned for the personnel to meet the expenses like self treatment, treatment of spouse or children and education or marriage of daughters.
“Each Assistance Cell is supervised by a gazetted officer with one non-gazetted officer and two lower subordinates as its members,” Police said.
