JAKFA elects office bearers
Jammu: The results of first ever elections to various posts of executive body of Jammu and Kashmir finance and accounts society (JAKFA) were declared in Civil Secretariat on Tuesday.
Mohammad Rafiq (Director Finance) was elected as President (JAKFA) where as Dr. Zaffer Iqbal (Deputy Director Central ) was elected as vice president Jammu province.
Pertinently, Irfan-ul-haq (FA/CAO) and Shafaat Yehya (Deputy Director) were elected as Vice president Kashmir/Ladakh and General Secretary respectively, un opposed.
The elections were held under supervision of the Election commission headed by Mohammad Yaqoob Itoo (DG Budget).
Speaking on the occasion, Itoo congratulated the newly elected body and at same time appreciated rule of interim President M. Imtiaz Ahmad Wani for playing pivotal role in taking the society to this level.
The newly elected president , vice president Jammu and General Secretary thanked Election Commission for smooth conduct of election process.
