Forces start search operation in Tangmarg village

Baramulla: Government forces on early Monday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) at Goigam area of Kunzer Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said a joint team of Army’s 2 RR , Special Operations Group of Police (SOG) and 176 Bn CRPF laid a cordon and search operation in Goigam area of Kunzer and conducted house to house search operation in the area.
A police official also confirmed and said that following inputs about the presence of some militants in the area, the search operation has been launched.
Searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
