Jammu blast: Injured man from south Kashmir succumbs

Jammu: An injured south Kashmir resident who had suffered critical injuries in the Jammu bus stand blast yesterday has succumbed to his injuries, police sources said.
The 32 year old breathed his last in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. Officials identified the deceased as Mohammad Riyaz son of Mohammad Amin of Matan Anantnag.
Authorities said that Riyaz breathed his last at around at 1:15am. “His body was shifted to mortuary room,” they said.
Pertinently, a youth from Uttarakhand died Thursday at GMC hospital after he received grievous injuries in the blast.
More than 30 civilians were injured after a grenade ripped through Jammu bus stand. The accused, according to the police was arrested and he hails from south Kashmir’s Kulgam area.
