Bank guard says his rifle is ‘missing’, police starts investigation
Srinagar: A security guard has reported that his 12-bore rifle has gone missing from a bank in Kumdalan area of Shopian, officials said Wednesday.
A police official said that the weapon has gone missing from the JK Bank branch Kumdalan last night.
“The police are investigating the matter after the guard reported the rifle missing today,” the official said.
“We are investigating as to how the weapon went missing,” the officer said. (GNS)
