Sopore shuts on 2nd straight day to mourn militant killings

Sopore: A complete shutdown was observed on second consecutive day in Sopore town and Zaingeer belt of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday to mourn the death of local militant Ishfaq Majeed Mir.
Mir was killed in an encounter that lasted for almost three days in Babagund area of Langate in Handwara on Sunday.
All the shops and other business establishments are closed in the town while as thin movement of transport was witnessed on the roads in the town throughout the day.
