Tral Encounter : Two militants killed, civilian injured, searches still on
Srinagar: Two militants were killed after contact was reestablished between government forces and militants in Mir Mohalla in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday morning.
Official sources said that that two Local militants were killed in Mir Mohalla after forces blasted house and razed it to the ground.
If sources are to believed both the slain militants are local and were affiliated with Hizb.
A senior Police officer also confirmed the killing of two militants and said that search operation is still on in the area. So far we have recovered two bodies of militants along with two AK47’s, he added.
Earlier a senior Police officer said that yesterday after initial brief exchange of firing there was long lull, but forces had tightened the cordon and sealed all the exit routes of the area. (GNS)
