Tral encounter: Slain militants identified as locals
Srinagar: The two militants killed during an encounter in Tral area of Pulwama district on Tuesday morning are believed to be locals, police sources said. They said that a 45 year old civilian was also injured in the incident.
If sources are to believed both the slain militants are local and were affiliated with Hizb. Both the slain have been identified as Irfan Ahmad Rather (Joining date 17-11-2017) resident of Shariefabad, Adfar Fayaz (Joining date 06th July 2018) resident of Gulshanpora Tral.
During exchange of firing one civilian also received a bullet wound in thigh. He has been identified as Farooq Ahmad (45). He was rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment and is said to be stable, police said.
A senior Police officer also confirmed killing of two militants and said that search operation still on. So far we have recovered two bodies of militants along with two AK47.
