Forces lay siege over Chinkipora Sopore

Sopore: Government forces on Wednesday launched a cordon-and-search operation in North Kashmir’s Sopore area.
Reports said a joint team of forces including Army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF launched searches in Naseerabad Chinkipora area of Sopore.
Reports said joint team of forces conducted house to house search operation in the area.
SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal told KV that the searches were launched following inputs of militants presence in the area. presence in the area.
