Forces launch CASO in Shopian Village
Shopain: Government forces started a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Rawalpora village of South Kashmir’s district Shopain early Tuesday morning.
Officials sources said that 34 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the searches in Rawalpora area of Shopain after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“The heavy concentration of the forces was witnessed in the area and all the routes leading to area have been sealed as a house to house search operation is going on,” sources said. (KNO)
