Hundreds turned up voluntarily to recruit themselves as Mirwaiz’s security
Srinagar: Hundreds of youth Friday registered themselves at the ‘Voluntary Recruitment Camp’ organised by the youth Awami Action Committee at Jamia Masjid Srinagar to voluntarily protect Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and to be part of the ongoing movement for right to self determination.
Youth AAC while lauding the enthusiasm of the youth, AAC youth president Mushtaq Sufi as per a statement issued here said that it was a welcome development that hundreds of youth are coming forward to voluntarily guard Mirwaiz.
He said that registration process has been temporality suspended as thousands have already registered and if need arises it would be restarted.
Sufi said that the enthusiasm shown by youth deserves all applause as youth are the greatest asset of the ongoing Kashmir movement.
